The Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center's Mobile Health Awareness Van promotes community wellness on site at area workplaces, senior centers, fairs and other public events, and community organizations. This helps extend the reach and availability of many of the services and resources provided at our headquarters at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, adjacent to CentraState Medical Center. Our van's experienced staff of registered nurses and health educators can provide a variety of services and resources to promote well-being, including:
- Blood pressure checks
- Glucose tests
- Vision screenings
- Hearing tests
- Health information
The Mobile Health Awareness Van is sponsored by the Lions Eye and Ear Club, which partnered with CentraState to purchase the van and refurbish it.
