CentraState has made heart health – disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment - a priority at the Thomas J. Blanchet Cardiac Diagnostic Center in the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus.
We provide a full range of cardiac evaluation services using state-of-the-art technology to help diagnose a heart condition or monitor a patient's progress following cardiac treatment. And our Cardiac Rehabilitation program will get you on the road to recovery following a cardiac event. The on-site program includes: education, assistance with dietary modification and guidance in beginning a personal exercise program.
Having our Health Awareness Center and our Fitness and Wellness Center in the same building offers convenience for our cardiac patients. They can access our Health Awareness Center for nutritional advice, including healthy cooking demonstrations and our Fitness and Wellness Center for continued exercise and stress-reduction programs.
The Cardiac Rehabilitation department is scheduled to relocate from CentraState Medical Center to the new building in March.
